I’ve been thinking about cutting my hair for months. Especially, the last few weeks. Stalking @thecutlife’s Instagram page, watching countless hours of people’s big chops, looking for the right color for me on Pinterest… I finally took the leap. The moments before I started cutting were nerve wrecking. It may not have looked like it on the outside, but regret tried to wiggle its way into my thoughts. But having my best friend on the phone with me helped me a lot. Although, I am not completely happy with the styling of my hair as of YET. I am glad that I cut it. I have been natural since 2012 (my 9th-grade year of high school) and I hadn’t really changed anything but my hair color over the entire span. This is a change that I hope brings me joy with my hair.
