Hi guys!!! I know you all love my cooking videos so I decided to bring you guys something affordable, quick, and EASY!! These don't really have a name but we'll just stick to "beef and cheese wraps." You'll only need 4 food ingredients and oil & toothpicks or skewers.
Ingredients:
1lb Ground Beef (or more or less)
8 oz Cream Cheese
Cheese of Choice ( I used medium Cheddar)
Flour Tortillas ( Any size will do!)
Vegetable Oil (or oil of choice)
Skewers/Toothpicks

•Step 1: Brown ground beef and season to taste ( I used lemon pepper and salt). Drain if necessary and return to skillet or pot.
•Step 2: Add softened cream cheese to ground beef over low heat. Mix in until the beef and cream cheese make a paste. Next, add a reasonable amount of shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice). Stir until all blended. Avoid high temps as the cheese will begin to burn on the bottom of the pan and overcook. Remove mixture from heat and set aside.
•Step 3: In a large skillet or pot, pour in a small amount of cooking oil, enough to cover the bottom. Not much oil is needed for this. Turn on the heat to a low/medium flame. Let the oil heat up and move on to step 4.
Step 4: Grab your tortillas and skewers. Place a tortilla on flat surface and add a spoon full of the meat mixture to the center. Depending on the size of the tortillas being used you may need more or less. Pick up an edge of the tortilla and fold it towards the middle. Continue folding until the meat mixture is covered completely. Use your skewers to hold the shape of the tortilla. 3-4 skewers for each tortilla should be enough. Repeat until meat mixture is gone.
•Step 5: Place the folded tortilla wraps in the oil gently to avoid splashing. Cook the tortillas until they are golden in color, then flip them over for a few seconds. The top of the wrap does not have to be as golden as the bottom. Remove from oil and place on a plate covered in paper towels. Let sit so that excess oil will drain from the wraps. ENJOY!!
