Colorful Makeup vs. Neutral Makeup - Is One Better Than The Other RANT | 3 Minute Tuesday

So this is a discussion on some of the craziness I've seen in comments on videos like antihauls recently - there seems to be some real anger towards people who like "boring" or more neutral eyeshadows. Another thing I've been seeing is negativity towards people who don't like colorful "enough" palettes - like people who like pops of color versus an entire rainbow palette. This is merely a discussion meant to bring up some of the negativity I've seen (I'm sure we all have in some capacity) and I just wanted to share my thoughts and perspective. One of the things that I think is really important is to consider someone's lifestyle. For example, they might have a job where they aren't able to wear bright purple eyeshadow or they might not want to spend very much time doing their makeup (it probably takes more time to do a bright green eyeshadow look than a softer neutral look). Or they might simply not like colorful looks which is A OKAY! Makeup is such a fun topic and I just wanted to bring attention to something that hurts my heart a little! I personally love watching people of all different makeup styles! I love watching people who make me look not colorful at all because they use such crazy, fun colors but also people who use lots of gold and taupe in their looks! There is so much inspiration that I find from Youtube and Instagram that it's crazy! Crazy fun - I am so excited with all the different types of beauty content out there. Hopefully this video was more on the thought provoking and discussion end of things! I really hoped to open friendly discussion on this rather than heated arguments.
