Show More hello everyone long time no see ʕ ᵔᴥᵔ ʔ to further challenge my improvisation skills, in today's video i tried the GOOGLE PICKS MY MAKEUP CHALLENGE. this makeup challenge was originally created by nikkietutorials, and i loved the idea of it so much i had to try it out. except it didn't go so smoothly...

the goal of this challenge is to create a look inspired by the first image that shows up in google images using the initials of your first and last name followed by look. for me that "AO look."

･ m a k e u p ･

so i screwed up the first time around...but in the second attempt, i decided to sketch out what i wanted to do. i noticed her vest was very fluffy, which made me want to do something incorporating feathers or wings, to work in the shapes and free-flowing feel of the vest she was wearing. when i transferred the look onto my face, however, i felt like it was very...bland, so i went over the makeup design with black face paint to give it a splatter effect. i don't know why but i just had this urge to make it very messy. i received a request from instagram to create my version of a corpse paint so i wanted to incorporate that too.

as for the red part of the look...i didn't know what to do, so i just made my lips red and shiny. improvisation skills still need a bit of work.

anyways, hope you enjoyed me doing the google picks my makeup challenge! this definitely wasn't easy for me to do since i wanted to make it really avant garde, but i liked how it forced me to get out of my comfort zone and create a look that is typically not my style.
