BioSurface Peel is a powerful skin resurfacing treatment that will helps to reduce breakouts, scarring decrease surface roughness, fade pigmentation and treat signs of premature ageing.
BioSurface peel can improve the quality, texture and tone of the skin without the inflammation, discolouration, scarring and severe side effects that are normally associated with Chemical peels.
BioSurface peel can achieve the same powerful results without the associated risks or downtime – Most clients experience noticeable results within three treatments. Results will vary depending on your skin condition and how frequently you receive a BioSurface peel.
BioSurface Peel is 30-55 minute treatment involving a 4 tiered system:
Step 1: Salicylic Acid solution
1) Salicylic Acid helps dissolve and remove excess surface oils and skin cells.
Preparing the skin as a perfect canvas for layering enzymes and hydroxy acids. Calm existing breakouts.
Step 2: Enzyme active
2) Powerful plant enzymes unlink skin cells and help digest skin protein to enable penetration of active ingredients.
Enzymes:
Pumpkin fruit ferment filtrate
Lactic acid
Papain
Salicylic Acid
Step 3: Acid Active
3) Highly active skin smoothing accelerators penetrate the skin, pushing exfoliation to the limit.
1 to 5 layers may be applied depending on tolerance and skin reaction.
3rd layer - a galvanic treatment can be performed to aid the peeling process.
Acid Actives:
Lactic acid
Phytic acid
Sugar cane extract
Salicylic acid
Step 4: De-celerator
4) Skin-soothing botanicals are applied to rapidly calm irritation and reduce redness whilst kick-starting the repair process.
Sodium Bicarbonate - neutralises
Cucumber fruit extract -calms and soothes irritation.
During your treatment you may experience some temporary itching, stinging or warm flushing. This will fade within 5-10 minutes.
Post treatment care:
Immediately after your BioSurface Peel treatment your skin may appear red and flushed. As your skin goes through the renewal process a light flaking or peeling, dryness, redness and tightness may occur. These side effects will subside quickly with proper post treatment care, starting with the BioSurface Peel After Care Kit (Included in the treatment)
Your skin condition, concerns and dedication to post treatment care will impact the frequency and results of BioSurface Peel treatments. 3-6 treatments are recommended over a 3-12 week period followed by maintenance treatments 2-3 times a year.
