hello everyone! ʕ˙ᴥ˙ʔ in today's video i will be continuing my bjd faceup x shironuri series, where i try to look like a living doll in the style of shironuri. for more information on this makeup tutorial, including products used, read the information below!

i thought this would be a good opportunity to see how different products set heavy theatrical makeup, such as shironuri. typically, i use a powder puff to stamp the setting powder into my skin, which allows it to really sink into the foundation, setting it and preventing the formation of any creases from improperly set makeup (necessary for theatrical looks like this).

overall, this brush is incredibly soft and applies powder evenly onto the skin. it left me with a flawless white base, which i loved. unfortunately, because of the fine bristles, it wasn't able to set the powder deeply into the foundation, so any areas where I typically crease did not set properly. this includes my eyelid area as well as the skin underneath my eyes. i had to go over my eyelid area with the powder puff because it was still slightly sticky.

overall this is best suited for non-theatrical looks.

FOR this bjd faceup makeup tutorial, i based a look off a doll i randomly found while looking for doll wigs on ebay. unfortunately i don't know anything about the actual doll though...if anybody knows anything about this doll, please let me know!!

this look, unfortunately, looks similar to the last makeup look i uploaded. i didn't realize this until i finished the makeup though. whoops. but this bjd faceup look is fairly simple - she has big, droopy eyes and blush over her face, complemented with freckles. i simply recreated this using eyeshadows, blush, and good ol' trusty duraline :3 it's actually not a hard look, but i'm not too happy about how it turned out. if i do another bjd doll makeup, it will probably be more dramatic...
