In this, Bright + Relaxing Bedroom Makeover! Budget Friendly Too! video, I shared how i decorated/ laid out our bedroom. All the items were purchased from discount stores like Marshalls and Ross. We reused lots of items were already had! You don't have to spend thousands to create a new look! Repurposing and placing items in a new location can give them new life! And if you love something and it is still in great condition like our comforter in this Bright + Relaxing Bedroom Makeover! Budget Friendly Too! video, then don't buy a new one! My favorite from this makeover is the DIY - i say that loosely - headboard! As i shared in this Bright + Relaxing Bedroom Makeover! Budget Friendly Too! video, we combined 3 wall art pieces to create a headboard and i am in love! Can you image paying for a headboard that looked like this! it would cost over $300 and that’s being modest. I paid $30 for each, so $90 for this “custom” mirror headboard! Im not sure why I worked this way, but it worked! Then i designed the seating corner! Like i shared in this Bright + Relaxing Bedroom Makeover! Budget Friendly Too! video, the chair in the corner is nice and wide! A chair like this can cost close to $200. I got this for nearly half that at $120 at marshalls. Then i placed some items in the built in bookcase. The table was $60 and worth it - a nice solid piece that will last for years! After that, we hung the curtains. I joking stating in this Bright + Relaxing Bedroom Makeover! Budget Friendly Too! video that we through it together, but really i couldn't find any curtains that i liked besides the sheer draping look, but the curtains appeared naked without something on the rod, so we tossed more sheer curtains around to get the look! !
