Both Laser Hair Removal and IPL Hair Removal target the melanin of the hair follicle. Laser and IPL are used interchangeably but just so you know, the difference lies on the machine and technology used. Laser uses focused beam of light which penetrates deeper whereas IPL uses scattered light. The darker the hair, the more desired outcome. It is important to choose a provider who has experience treating different skin types. EACH CLINIC has their own protocol, this is what we do with ours.
