I really admire anyone who bucks the trends and creates something different from the crowd. It's so tempting to go for what's popular, cheap and dirty and make a ton of coin. Then there are people who stick to their scruples, and create something really special. As such, I am a HUGE fan of Wayne Goss' brush line. This is not some mad-dash, mass produced, private-label brand- these brushes are handmade by master craftspeople in Japan. They are a joy to use, and hold up well to years and years of use. Some of them have been kindly gifted to me by Wayne & the Beautylish team, but many I've happily purchased myself. When someone asks me what are my most used, softest, BEST makeup brushes are, I immediately say WAYNE GOSS!

I've had a lot of questions about this new Wayne Goss brush set; What is my favorite brush from the set, are they really all that different, can I provide dupes, Can I compare to the original set, and what eye shape are these good for? In this video I answer all of these questions aside from dupes- there really aren't less expensive options that can match the quality and thoughtful shapes. There are brushes of similar caliber, like chikuhodo brushes, and Hakuhodo Brushes, but you just can't get this type of quality brushes for less, and truth be told- there are many other brands who sell inferior brushes for the same price or more than Wayne's. It can be a lot to purchase at once, but Beautylish offers Flexpay (which I have used in the past) or you can collect them slowly one at a time. ^_^
