This one is a bit late :( yet again sorry... I'm gonna fix that this week though so keep watching and subscribing. I hope you all enjoyed your valentines Day and continue to enjoy February!!
Eros, the Greek god of sexual love and beauty. In the classical world, the phenomenon of love was generally understood as a kind of madness or, as the Greeks put it, madness from the gods. This love passion was described through an elaborate metaphoric and mythological psychological schema involving "love's arrows" or "love darts", the source of which was often given as the mythological Eros or Cupid.
Plato refined the concept of eros. Although eros is initially felt for a person, with contemplation it becomes an appreciation of the beauty within that person, or even becomes appreciation of beauty itself. Plato also said Eros helps the soul remember beauty, and contributes to an understanding of spiritual truth.
