So for today's video I show y'all how to thread a sewing machine and bobbin. YES I know that all sewing machines are different, however each one is similar in a way. So hopefully this is able to help y'all out, or maybe even help refresh your memory if that is what you were looking for. :D And don't forget to check out the other 8 videos in this sewing basics series, by clicking on the jellyfish at the end or the DIY playlist in the description box!

The Breakdown:
- Put spool of thread on machine
- Thread it to fill up the bobbin
- Pull the thread from the inside of the bobbin, to the outside
- Place the bobbin on the bobbin threader and push it to the right
- Push down the peddle to start the machine, to thread the bobbin
- Hold the excess thread up and tightly until it snaps clean off
- Stop when the thread fills up to the stopper
- Push the bobbin to the left and then take it off
- Trim the thread from your spool if needed
- Thread the machine by changing the top part to make the thread go down instead of to the right of the machine
- Pull thread down into the first slot on the right
- Go around the tension knob
- Go back up again, in the left slot and around the hook inside the machine by pulling the thread to the left and then down again
- Hook the thread from left to right around the tiny horizontal bar right above the needle
- Thread your needle by pushing your thread from the front to the back (if this is tough to do, try snipping off the end of the thread or moistening the tip to make it smooth and straight)
- Open up the bottom of your machine by pulling the arm up and off
- Pull down the little door
- Take out the bobbin casing by pulling the little level from the left to the right and then simply pull the casing out
- Make sure that your bobbin is facing you to where the thread is going clockwise, and place it in the casing
- Pull the thread up into the thin slit in the casing
- Replace the case the way that it came out
- With your sewing machine foot down, hold your top thread to the left tightly and turn the knob on the right side of your machine (you can turn it away from you or towards you, it really doesn't matter)
- The thread from the bottom will pop up and you can grab them, and pull them both to the back of your machine
- Close the little door and replace the arm
- And that's it!!! :D
