•.★*... About This Look ...*★.•

I originally had planned on doing a vampire elf look (I spent an entire month working on props) but in the end I could get the elf ears to work for me...so I scrapped it and decided to go with this look instead. Ghuleh/Zombie Queen is a song I've been listening to for a long time and I've always wanted to create a look based off the song. The meaning of the actual song is about nostalgia but I decided to base my look on how she is described in the lyrics.

So I designed this makeup to make me look ghostly pale but looking still a little bit human and attractive.

That's why I didn't portray her to look like a typical "zombie"...normal zombies bore me anyways ;)

•.★*... Accessories ...*★.•

For this look I spent a lot of time on making props and accessories. I make a goal to make a really big makeup look bigger than my last one in order to learn and improve, the last one happened to be my Underworld Nymph makeup which took me 2 weeks to make the accessories...this one took me a month. Most of the work was spent on the skull staff.

For the skull staff I layered cotton and liquid latex over the skull, then jammed a stick into the bottom, then layered more cotton and latex over that. I did the same for the other stick on the staff (it's actually the broken end of an art brush lol), then I spray painted the whole thing black and gold. Dry brushed black and gold over top, then hot glued rhinestones and hair on it. This is why I did not explain it in the video...too lengthy to explain x_x Plus the actual staff isn't finished yet.

For the skull tiara I poured hot glue into skull molds used for cooking, then glued them all onto wire and foam I custom fit to my head shape. I jabbed little sticks on top, then poured hot glue over it. Then I spray painted that, dry brushed it, stuck on rhinestones, then hot glued two hair clips on the back of it. This took me a week to make because I only had one skull mold.

For the skull bracelet I did the same process, except the skulls were hot glued on the back of a bracelet I made out of polymorph. I added a little elastic on the back so it could slip over my wrist more easily.

The skull rings were made by measuring wire to fit my fingers, then hot glued that onto random skull pieces that I didn't use for the previous props/accessories.

Overall this was a fun but challenging experience. Now I want to make shoulder pads and wings :D
