If you want to learn friendship band making with thread, then here I have for yo, not one, not two, but DIY friendship band making with wool and chain options!!

You can also use things like beads, etc to make them look even more pretty. Honestly, I think they would look quite grand in the first braided one!

I have created 3 styles here, so you can take your pick according to not only your choices, but what you might already have in mind, the amount of time and patience in hand, and other similar important considerations. I personally would go for a combination of all 3, so that I get a variety of looks in my collection to tie around. Besides, it is just a lot more fun that way!

You can very well try all of these DIY for such handmade friendship bands, in other color combinations as well. I want to point out that this was the biggest reason why i chose to actually do each one of these in a different color - so that you know that when you have a golden chain around, you really are not restricted by choice of colors and color combinations. Please avoid using a silver chain though, since I feel that they do not come across as as pretty and elegant as the golden ones.

To learn how to make friendship bands at home with ribbons, you can use the option one as well. Simply replace the chain bunch with one ribbon that has the cain stuck on it with glue! Yes, then start to braid the styles away! Can you honestly imagine making these beauties getting any easier than that?! Give it a shot and don't forget to show me pictures of yourself and your friend wearing those styles if you do!

The braided one:

This is one super simple and super Cute friendship bands tutorial, which you can do in barely 5 minutes! Personally this one if my favourite of all 3, and the reason is that it is cute, elegant and just very very fast and easy to make. When you have a lot of bands to make, and lots of friends to celebrate with, it is nice to create bands that take less time.

The red knot one:

This I feel is the most useful of all, since later you and your friends can also wear them as your regular bracelets! It is a great investment of your time and energy, and especially if you and your bestie can flaunt it around for weeks, what fun would that be?! I suggest you use whatever colors you want here, maybe pick something that your friend adores the most or wears most frequently!

The green Knot one:

This one is simple, easy and also like the previous one, can be worn as a bracelet for days later. You can also wear it as an anklet if you want, so that is a double win win! I suggest you go for this one if you are looking for something that looks more professional that the first one but takes less time and effort than the second one.

This is a tutorial, in which I have shown in very simple steps 3 awesome and practical DIY friendship band creations, that will make your friend very happy, and also, will save you tons of money on what could have proved to be a big expense. besides, if you have a friend who you really value, I think it is the sweetest gesture to sit down at home, and spend some precious time making these bands around for them, to let them know that they were special enough to be on your mind, for you to make that kind of an effort for them!
