Most women get hair extensions for the purpose of getting extra length and volume. After you have clipped on 20 inch extensions all around, all the hair appears one length and very uniform. Sometimes however, that very uniformity is what leads to the installation looking unnatural.

Women with naturally long hair will usually have some strands longer than others. Not by any attempt by the women to cut their hair, it’s just in the nature of hair follicles be at different stages in the growth cycle and to grow at different rates. This is why when you get your own hair blunt cut, a few short months later, the blunt cut will have lost it’s shape.
Layering your extensions benefits you in two ways
They make your extenisons more natural looking which makes it more undetectable.
Layering makes for a lighter weight which will make it more comfortable to wear.
A stylist Like myself is able to layer your hair for you after installing your clip in extensions, but if you are wanting to it yourseld and you want to learn how to layer your own extensions, I show you how to in this v ideo.
You will need: A pair of sharp hair shears, a comb and hair clips.
