I have been seeing a lot of negative comments on pictures of others' makeup:
"You wear too much makeup"
"If you have to wear this much makeup then you're really ugly"
"How do you expect to get a boyfriend if you have to wear this much makeup"
"You're just trying to hide what you can't change"
"That's why you take her swimming on the first date"
"False advertisement"
"Fake"
"Ugly"
These are all real comments I have seen on some very beautiful work. I created this video to show how those negative comments can actually affect you, tear you apart, and cause you to not want to do what you love. I don't wear makeup because I want to change my appearance or because I think I'm ugly. Wearing makeup doesn't make you fake. I grew up loving makeup because it was another form of expression. Makeup is an art. With art, you express yourself and paint on paper and just like art, our face is our canvas and paint on it with makeup. Create endless amounts of beautiful looks and don't let anyone stop you.
