Hello everyone! Here's a video on my Whole30 compliant snacks and how to eat healthy and lose 5 - 10 lbs in 30 days! If you're serious about eating healthy, then I would recommend going on the Whole30 program. After reading through the program and what really jumpstart me to trying it out was that you have the discipline to stick with a program and actually make a lifestyle change and develop a healthy habit of eating whole nutritious foods.

Hello everyone! Here's a video on my Whole30 compliant snacks and how to eat healthy and lose 5 - 10 lbs in 30 days! If you're serious about eating healthy, then I would recommend going on the Whole30 program. After reading through the program and what really jumpstart me to trying it out was that you have the discipline to stick with a program and actually make a lifestyle change and develop a healthy habit of eating whole nutritious foods.
As the folks behind Whole30 program would say, "Beating cancer is hard, having a baby is hard, doing the Whole30 is NOT hard". So that's how I decided to actually do the program and stick to it. Believe me when I say that I was tempted plenty of times during the program to have some sweets but what made me get through that was the fact that I did not want to start the program all over again. Also having a friend to do this program with you helps reinforce good behavior.
This program also helps me be more aware of what foods I put in my body and if there are packaged foods out there that have more ingredients that you cannot pronounce, then it's best to avoid those entirely. I've learned to replace regular milk with coconut milk to add creaminess to broths. I've also found out about coconut flour that you can use to create a roux for soups. After the Whole30 though, I plan to replace a lot of baked goods recipes with coconut flour and just stick with vegan desserts.
This is a lifestyle change for me to eating better and healthier and I definitely do not consider it a fad. I plan to keep eating whole30 at least for most of the week and have splurge days on weekends where I can treat myself.
