In terms of choosing eyeshadows, blushes and lip colours according to your skin undertone, I don't think your undertone should limit the colour schemes you go for. If you want to wear silver eyeshadow, you wear it; you want to wear orange lipstick, go for it! You should be able to explore and try out whatever the heck you'd like :)

I personally like warm-toned blushes, eyeshadows and lip colour because I like the way they fit into my skin undertone. Again that's just me! I've tried lots of cool-toned makeup and still like the look on me.

Eyeshadow for instance, the Naked original palette is more warm-toned whereas the Naked 2 is more cool-toned. Warm-toned eyeshadows normally contain more tones of orange, tan, peanut butter, bronze, gold etc... that type of colours. Whereas cool-toned eyeshadows contain more tones of taupe, grey, silver, purple etc.

Lipstick for example, cooler lip colour has more of a blue base in it, whereas warmer lip colour has more of a coral/orange tone in it... I struggled distinguishing the blue tones out of lip colour or blushes for a long time, but you'll get better at it the more makeup you try on.

I suggest you do a lot of research and swatches before you purchase any makeup product and eventually you'll find what suit you the best!
