So I'm sure you all know how passionate I am for Sickle cell disease. Reanna my babygirl was diagnosed with Sickle cell disease on her 2nd day here on Earth. She has not had the easiest life and has pain crisis, eye issues, hip pain, and we are learning more and more is to be expected in her Adult stage.

She has not had the easiest life and has pain crisis, eye issues, hip pain, and we are learning more and more is to be expected in her Adult stage.

I wanted to share this Evening of Hope Gala we attended. It was truly great to find a Sickle cell support group here in Durham and to meet others who have Sickle cell disease and hear their stories.
