Substituting all purpose flour for spelt flour and using maple syrup and a ripe banana as natural sweeteners makes all the difference without compromising on taste. These are delicious with tea, a cup of coffee or a glass of milk. Enjoy ;)

This recipe makes about 24 cookies depending on their size.

Ingredients
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1.25 cups spelt flour
1.5 cup brown sugar
3 cups cooking oats
2 eggs
1 banana
1.5 cup butter
1.5 cup coconut oil
1.5 cup mapple syrup
1.5 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vanilla bean
1 tsp. salt
