About me: I’m Kathryne from TheFabzilla, a beauty and lifestyle blog based out of Oahu (Hawai’i). I am in my early 40s, dog mama, zombie fanatic, RN by trade, and wife to my soulmate who supports my multi-faceted interests in life. I decided to resuscitate this channel because friends, ex-colleagues, including former classmates from grade school, high school, college and MBA (who now belong to the big Four O Club) lack representation in the online arena which is largely dominated by millennials who posses a uniformed look of “perfection” (just look at Instagram and you know what I mean). Don’t get me wrong, I did strive for “perfection” and sense of belongingness when I was in that age group. They say 40 is the new 30. Well, if you look the part. With kids all grown up, perhaps with a more stable career, whether you’re attached or still single, the world is yours to keep and seize, unapologetically! While I am no means a beauty expert, I believe that my lifelong passion in all things beauty, including my quest to stop the dreaded aging clock, plus a profession in aesthetic medicine, it is my goal to help you look your best. Beauty at any age. Imperfectly gorgeous (‘ey my crooked teeth make me unique!). Yes, we are going to look fabulous all the way to our 90s. Because why not.
