Hey everyone! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ As part of my Halloween series, I've created a new makeup look today based off Trance Kuja from Final Fantasy 9. For more details on this makeup look, make sure to read the information below!

Back in 2000, when I was still in middle school, Final Fantasy 9 came out and I played it CONSTANTLY with my brother and one of my friends. I remember hating the poop out of the Tetra Master card game (Triple Triad is way better, js) but I was pretty obsessed with the main villian, Kuja.

"Trance" Kuja refers to the form he takes in Trance mode. Trance is basically Final Fantasy 9's version of a limit break. In this form he becomes covered in red fur and his hair turns red and very...feathery I guess you could say :3 Also whenever he loses a battle he gets salty and casts Ultima on you. I thought he looked really badass, so I thought I would attempt to recreate his look in this cosplay makeup tutorial.

For the wig, I cut up a wig I got from Amazon then attached feathers using hair extension beads. This took me 5 hours to do.

I also made cuffs covered in feathers to imitate the furry thing going down Kuja's arms...? I don't know what it really is, but I made the cuff out of Velcro, felt, goose feathers, and hot glue, all bought from Michaels.
