Día de Muertos.. or Day of the dead is something in the Mexican culture that fascinates me. I think the idea of this holiday is so cool and I wish America had something like this. Day of the Dead or Día de Muertos is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, and by people of Mexican ancestry living in other places, especially the United States. It is acknowledged internationally in many other cultures. The multi-day holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey. Such a beautiful concept if you ask me! This is my take on a sugar skull. I have always wanted to do one of these because I always thought it looked SO fun. I hope you enjoy!

note: I am in no way mocking or appropriating the Mexican culture, I just think this day is really cool and it fascinates me. I hope I am doing it justice.
