I found out I was pregnant on May 1, 2015. On June 30th, I had an elective ultrasound because I thought it would be fun to see her. Little did I know, I was about to get news that would change my life forever. I was told my baby had a brain abnormality, which ISNT TRUE! I was told I needed to get to my dr immediately. Quinnlee had something called a cystic hygroma and fetal hydrops. I was encouraged to "terminate my pregnancy" because it was the safest thing for me. I chose life. I chose Quinnlee. She has overcome a lot already and will go through more throughout her life pertaining to her Turner Syndrome. But she is nothing short of a miracle that we have been blessed with.

I wanted to post this video to give hope to other mothers pregnant with a little girl with Turner Syndrome. We are always given the worst odds. There is never a beautiful picture painted for us that things "MIGHT" be okay. Or more than okay. Things can be beautiful and so full of love. Our babies aren't just a diagnosis or set of statistics. They deserve to be given the chance to fight! I'm so thankful for the doctors that didn't give up on her and the heart surgeon who saved her life.
I'd love to document Quinnlee's life on youtube. To give other TS parents hope and a place to turn for support. What do you think? Leave a comment below!
