Some Tips & Tricks:

Use a loofa
Exfoliate with a sugar scrub
Shave/Wax
Moisturize the remaining days of the week to prolong your tan
Remove any remaining tan before your next application
Cover those dry areas with body butter before application
Watch that your wrists don't get self tanner on them during application
Use a makeup brush for your neck, hands, and feet
Use a makeup sponge for your face and really moisturize your hairline, eye brows, upper lip, and apply a thin coat of moisturizer to your entire face before application (but not body)
Pat yourself dry every time you get out of the shower
