The Lip Bar Lip Liqueur in Chocolate Spritzer is an opaque, brown-girl friendly apricot lip gloss. You see a truer color of the lip gloss when I’m in direct sunlight. Lip Liqueur by The Lip Bar goes on a bit sticky, as you see in the video, but I was pleasantly surprised at how it held up! I put this lipstick to the ultimate test: a birthday brunch on a 90-degree day in New York. There was lots of gabbing, lots of laughs, and definitely lots of drinking. (Bottomless brunch, holla!)

I’ve been following The Lip Bar for a while on Instagram, and decided to pick up a few shades I didn’t mention in the video. Other shades I picked up from the Lip Bar were: COCOA COOLER, and moisturizing lipstick in a warm brown and BAWSE LADY, a matte liquid lipstick in a brick red shade.

I like that there is more than one way you can apply this powder foundation and it works well either way. Black Up Two Way Cake applies smoothly with a fluffy powder brush to fully set your makeup. Or, you can apply it using a sponge for a maximum matte look. I like to apply this way around the mouth when wearing bold lip colors to prevent bleeding.
