I was very excited to visit the new Captain America statue in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. I heard about this new statue from Comic-Con news and other news podcast outlets. The Captain America statue was created by Artist Joe Simon, in collaboration with Jack Kirby, the creator of Captain America.

This beautiful statue is going to be available for another week, before moving to a new location. So, if you have not seen it and you are in NY, take a trip to Prospect Park. This is a beautiful bronze statue.
