♡ CAKE FACE TIPS ♡
1. Prep your skin with a primer according to your skin type
2. Let your base sink into your skin for a few minutes before applying foundation
3. Use a brush for a lighter coverage foundation and a sponge for heavier coverage foundation
4. Use a smoothing primer on areas your makeup creases (fine lines, laugh lines, forehead wrinkles
5. Use a loose powder underneath your eyes (less coverage, less cakey), and use a pressed powder for your entire face
6. Let your liquid products sink into your skin for a few minutes before applying powder
7. Dab moisturizer on top of cakey areas throughout the day
8. Spray your beauty sponge with MAC Fix+ and dab onto cakey areas OR mist onto your entire face after makeup application
9. Shake your foundation bottle before using (especially with serum- or water-based foundations)
10. Mix a facial oil or serum with heavier coverage foundations to make it less cakey
11. Spot conceal with your foundation on good skin days - don't over apply foundation where you don't need it!
