♫ ♥¸.•*´ 7 Deadly Sins: Sloth Makeup Concept ♫ ♥¸.•*´

For me, I struggled with this concept a lot because I wanted to do something new. I didn't want to copy or even take inspiration from the other Sloth looks out there...really difficult.

So I thought about what might surround someone who embrace the sin of sloth. Dirty clothes everywhere, bad cleaning habits, moldy food - and then I thought why not mold? Imagine being such a sloth that eventually you begin molding from the inside out.

So...I painted mold on myself. I referenced a few pictures for this, but having been in Trader Joe's produce aisle too many times I went from memory too ehe (why is their fruit always moldy? WUT)

Also I painted my skin white because sloths probably don't get much sun.

Also also also, I think a lot of people tend to misinterpret this sin. While it does signify laziness, it also signifies apathy and idleness to a larger extent. If you're a sloth, you won't do something that could greatly benefit a group of people because you don't want to put in the effort. Or when people are going through hardships, you don't help them out.

For instance, think about when you've seen someone bullied at school. They are clearly suffering, and surrounded by bullies, but if you don't help them out because you just don't care, that's very characteristic of sloth.

And to a larger extent, think of people who don't speak up when racist violence occurs. Or the people who turn a blind eye to domestic or child abuse. While this may seem like a relatively harmless sin, it's actually extremely harmful because it allows those who do terrible things to continue doing so.

After this series I will be uploading my last video for a while :( Yeah, I know, sadface. I'm going to be moving soon and redoing part of my new house, so I won't be active for a while.

But no fear! I will be uploading video of my new house and preparing for my Halloween series! Moving will also allow me to improve my videos, so stay tuned for Minsooky 2.0. We will be treating each video like a NYX Face Awards entry from now on ;)
