We love both oils and serums, we feel that since we are relaxed, we don't think it's necessary to constantly incorporate a lot of oil mixtures into our hair. Relaxed hair takes a load off the maintenance factor, in our opinion, so we don't necessarily have a strict oil regimen. Don't get us wrong, we are cray about coconut oil and olive oil, and they play a major part in how to grow long hair, especially if you can get in those scalp massages with them; however we're just very careful with how we use them.
Serums unlike oils are made to coat and stay on top of your hair, and they're extremely good and blocking and fighting off heat, sun, humidity from coming in contact and damaging the hair surface, and they're really good at reconstructing hair from chemicals like relaxers, which is a must have for us.
