ABOUT THIS MAKEUP LOOK↓
A while back a subscriber suggested I do Minotaur - and so that's exactly what I did. However, because I am REALLY creating a bunch of props for my NYX Face Awards challenge I had to really rush through this, so no voiceover. Sorry! I think it should be pretty easy to figure out what I'm doing though.
Basic facts about Minotaur: Minotaur is Greek mythological creature with the body of a man but the head of a bull. Unfortunately, I am not a man, so I decided to make a more gender-neutral/feminine version of Minotaur. I also drew inspiration from Greek art to create custom pieces for this look. I created the pieces I placed on my face with foam board, cardboard, and hot glue. Normally I would suggest using spirit gum, but I couldn't open the bloody bottle so I had to use lash glue instead. Lash glue works fine if you plan on not doing anything but sitting, but otherwise you'd need something stronger to keep the foam pieces in place.
I also made the pieces for my hair and the minotaur horn headband, which looks pretty bad but it's what I had to work with...I'm not really good at creating props yet.
For the actual look I wanted to emphasize precise lines because a lot of Greek art is stylized in a similar manner.

The next mythology makeup look will be Sekhmet from Egyptian mythology.
