Hey guys. In this video, I'm going to style my hair into a faux bun using marley hair.
So, even though I'm working with a little bit of length and can make a pretty decent bun with my own hair, sometimes it's nice to change it up and use some marley hair to make a bun. This bun is inspired by a twisted bun done by MyNaturalSistas.
I started off with freshly co washed hair. To help seal in the moisture, I used the Qhemet Biologics Amla and Olive Heavy Cream.
Using a stocking, I pulled my hair into a high ponytail. I put in a few chunky twists to make it easier to make a bun out of my real hair.
Curls Blueberry Curl Control Paste was used on my edges to lay them down.
With one pack of marley hair, I put in 4 twists and secured the ends with rubber bands.
Next, I positioned two twists towards the front, making the bang/pompadour area. The other two twisted parts of the marley hair were wrapped about my bunned hair.
Bobby pins were used to secure the twisted marley hair to my hair.
Faux buns are a great way to jazz up an otherwise plain bun.
Thanks for watching and I’ll see you in the next video!
