Keeping your room clean: Tips, Tricks, and more!

I thought this video would be really fun to do, since a lot of people are unsure of how to maintain a clean room, clean their room, or organize it! Below are all my tips and tricks to keeping your room clean. If you tried this and it worked for you, send me some before and after pictures! I would love to see (:

*CLEANING TIPS*
1) Before you clean your room, make sure to throw all the trash away on your floor, your bed, etc; this will make your room much easier to clean!

2) Try to maintain a clean room. If you have a habit of throwing dirty clothes on the floor, instead, once you're done changing, pick up your dirty clothes and put them in your laundry. If you're done using an item, put it away!

3) ALWAYS CLEAN BEFORE YOU ORGANIZE! There is a HUGE difference between cleaning and organizing. Cleaning is putting items in their proper place, or picking up things off the floor. Organizing is fine-tuning and adding more order to what you have already cleaned.
Example: You could have a pile of clothes that you wad up and throw into your drawers. They're in their proper place (the drawers), but there not organized because they're wadded up. Organizing before cleaning can get you easily sidetracked, you will be looking at your stuff more than cleaning it, and then you will just waste a lot of time!
4) Try to clean your room AT LEAST once a week. This will help you maintain a clean room, so it will be much easier to deal with instead of a super messy room.

5) Keeping your room clean is important because it helps you not be as stressed out. Your mind feels much more relaxed in a clean room, and feels jumbled in a messy room.

*STEPS TO CLEANING YOUR ROOM*
1) Pick up all dirty clothes off the floor, and put them in the laundry.

2) Pick up all clean clothes off the floor, fold them, and put them away. If you have any bags/suitcases that still have clothes in them, unpack them and put the clothes away.

3) Pick up all paper, books, pens, pencils, art supplies, etc; and either put away or throw out.

4) Pick up bags, purses, suitcases, etc; off the floor and put away. If there are items in them, take the items out of the bag, set the items aside on the floor, and put the bag away. You will come back to the other items later.

5) Pick up all electronics, cords, chargers, etc; and put away.

6) Clean up whatever is left on the floor. (Except for the items that you set aside in the bags)

7) Pick up/unpack/put away all makeup, hair, skincare products, etc; organize them and put away.

8) Take all water glasses or empty water bottles out of your room and put them in the sink.

9) Put away anything else thats left in your room.

10) Organize whatever is left.

11) Make your bed if you have not already.

Your done! It's as simple as that! Hope my tips really helped!
