Avoiding texture becomes very important as we age. But for some it can make a huge difference to your skin looking more life like. More real. Less cakey. Unless you need to apply "more" don't. Use only what you need, where you need it and no more. You will find your skin looks better, your lines won't look as "prominent" and no more caking.
