Hi Everyone!
Hope you all are well :) *Don't forget to watch in 1080p!*
I'm back again today with another review video for you all. Even though these videos take about three times as long to record and edit compared to a makeup tutorial, I love making them! If there are any other products you would like me to review please let me know in the comments section below :)
Naturally I can only squish so much information into a video so anything I have left out i'll throw it down here!
I was invited to the Benefit event for this product on the 16th of January. As usual, upon attending the event us bloggers had no idea what product we were being introduced too. As I said in the video, when I found out that the product was a mascara, I was a little bit iffy. I really didn't like Benefits Their Real mascara so I didn't have much hope for this one.
However, after learning a bit about the product and seeing the mascara demonstrated, my mind was changed slightly. I knew I would have to get home and try the mascara out myself to be fully convinced by its claims.
I think the final thoughts section of this video was filmed between the 26th-28th of March so I have been using it for just over a couple of months. I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara, its fantastic. The one thing that I really appreciated was that Benefit took on board the criticism that Their Real mascara received when creating this mascara. In comparison to Their Real, Roller Lash has a light weight formula, its easy to apply and remove, it doesn't flake throughout the day and it is long wearing.
To summarise I have compiled a list of pro's and con's below :)
☻ Light weight formula
☻ Hook 'n' Roll wand concept lifts lashing resulting in a curl
☻ Extremely long lasting
☻ No flaking
☻ No transferring/smudging
☻ Cute packaging
Con's
☻ Price could be a con for some people. It is €26 which is quite dear in comparison to drugstore mascaras. However, in relation to other high end mascaras I do not think this is expensive, especially when you take into consideration how well the product performs.
Due to the nature of the product I won't be buying this every time I need a new mascara. I change my mascara up every 3-4 months so overtime that can be quite costly. I'll be repurchasing this every other time I need a new mascara, although going back to a drugstore one after using this one will be quite the challenge :)
Overall, I cannot fault the product. I highly recommend it to anyone that has straight, small and/or stubborn lashes... you won't be disappointed!
Have you tried Benefits Roller Lash Mascara?
If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts :)
