ABOUT THIS MAKEUP LOOK↓

While the previous Medusa look focused on classic Greek beauty, this look is all about creating something truly monstrous. My first makeup for this fell through so I improvised a new look focusing on using gold cardstock from Michaels. I cut out little diamond-shaped pieces (intended to look like snake skin) and also fashioned some of the cardstock into fake rings.

Medusa was also described as having claws, hence the claws I'm sporting in the video.

I also spray painted some toy snakes with black and gold spray paint, then accented them with rhinestones. I attached these to my hair using clips.

As for the rest of the face, I wanted it to look attractive yet dark. I smoked out the eyes and made sure my eyebrows were extra defined for this makeup look. I also contoured really heavily so more of my features would stand out better.

And that's basically why I did Medusa this way. I wanted her to be FIERCE :3

I REALLY hope you enjoy this! This was a blast to create and now I can't wait to start on my next Mythology look, a dark elf. I'll need to do more 7 Deadly Sins looks first though!
