So, colour correcting? Why, when and how?

If you have really REALLY deep discolouration that correcting can make a massive difference. Brown/Purple around the eyes or on the face? Red/Orange will work great. Very red skin? Green or Yellow can tone this down.

Need to brighten?
Yellow for very medium / tan skins (primer based) or for those with slight skin redness.
Pink for those wanting to brighten a yellow complexion.
Caramel for women of colour wanting to add brightness.
Peach for light/medium skin tones for adding brightness.
Green for discolouration that is minimal.

I highly recommend make up for ever step 1 primers. They offer colour correction and brightness without any discolouration to the surrounding skin. They are amazing and will also help prolong the wear of your foundation. Links below:
