It's time for another Reloved! I've had this cute IKEA secretary desk for a few years now and recently it's been sitting neglected in the corner. I wanted to update it and give it a fresh new look and I have been loving the mirrored furniture trend that i've been seeing in a lot of the contemporary furniture stores lately and wanted to give this desk a whole new DIY revamp. This how to furniture hack was a lot easier then I thought it was to do and will give a old IKEA desk a whole new look. This DIY project and tutorial works great on most furniture with flat surfaces like vanities, end tables and dressers. Can you imagine having a DIY mirrored dresser in your bedroom? I would love to have one! Let me know what you think!

PS: I highly recommend getting your mirror pieces just by a local glass shop and asking for the edges to be polished. Most hardware stores cannot polish the edges and they will be sharp and potentially dangerous to handle. The extra cost is worth it. The mirror thickness I used is 1/8". Make sure to measure twice before sending in your measurements to the glass cutter!
Looking for the glue? You want mirror specific adhesive like this: http://amzn.to/1RMoO68
