I think there is a common misconception about people like me who LOVE makeup. I think people get the wrong impression of me thinking I'm high maintenance, insecure… or that all i care about is looking pretty. I often get comments like… "Are you sure you want to go Carah, there isn't going to be a bathroom there."… annoying right? I think makeup shaming IS a thing, and it bothers me that people don't realize that for most… makeup is an art form. Its FUN! The reason I do makeup is because I enjoy sitting down and playing with new techniques, colors, and brushes. Seeing how I can transform my look for the day is creative and enjoyable. Doing makeup isn't always about covering insecurities or feeling like you can't be seen without makeup. I sit on youtube in front of thousands of people sans makeup, and I'm okay with it…. Makeup is relaxing and enjoyable for me, and thats it!… Thats why I love THE POWER OF MAKEUP!
