Today I bring you into my kitchen to show you one of my favorite recipes for breakfast ahead. This delicious overnight oatmeal banana nut edition!
This super delicious breakfast is not only healthy & full of nutrients but it's also very easy to make and the favor possibilities are endless! :D
Ingredients:
Basic overnight Oats!
1/3 cup Rolled Oats (instant won't work)
1/3 cup almod milk (or any milk of your choice) Optional
1/4 Low fat Greek yogurt or reg yogurt
1 tsp chia seeds
now the Fun part... Top it off with ...
1/2 banana sliced
Walnuts ( I use about 1 Tbsp)
sprinkle with cinnamon
maple syrup (I use 1 tsp)- SKIP if you're on the fix :(
Refrigerate overnight (or for 5-8 hrs for you late snackers!)...
Extra tip: microwave for 15 second for warm deliciousness, before serving :D
If you're doing the 21 day fix this is equivalent to
1 yellow
1 purple
1 red, and 1 blue :)
