Truth is its an old technique that has been around for 40 plus years with Joe Blasco using its back in the 60s. Its nothing new and not matter how hard the cosmetics industry tries to make you believe so!

Points to remember:

No matter what way you look at this it will never looks as "natural" as normal foundation and concealer because of the amount of product needed.

Blending is key here.

Without question or doubt this style of makeup (as with most contouring under foundation) takes amazing photographs.

Contouring down into the jaw area is a masculine technique but it can create a more killer cheek bone.
