As a whole, not so much. However...
I don't wear fake lashes a lot (at all) but I do love the look they give. I wore these for NYE 2012...and I got compliments from everyone. However, I couldn't even use the whole lash! I don't know if my eyes are smaller, or what, but I looked like I was going for the drag queen look with the full set on. No joke. I just compensated by cutting these bad boys in half & using them on the outside of my eyes. It worked wonders. The glue sucks (Hi, they are like....$1) but I have urban decay lash glue that is amazing, so I use that
Seriously?
I found the teal eyeliner at Target the other day, and I was DYING to get a teal/blue/green eye liner for under my eyes...but I hate this. I had to hold it up to a light bulb to get the pencil to even soften enough to APPLY! Not to mention to cover...what a joke. In the packaging I was like, "Oh cool, a pencil sharpener too!" but as soon as I opened the package and the top fell off, I knew I was in trouble. Good thing I don't travel with this eye pencil...it'd color my entire makeup bag teal.
Eh....
First & foremost, for the price I paid for these, I really can't complain. I found this set at Target the other day, and had been looking for some new brushes. Most of them are decent, but I do wish there were a few smaller brushes for applying eye-shadow. I end up using the liner (eye & lip) brushes to apply small pops of colors of my eye lids. Which really isn't a big deal since I don't generally wear lipstick...I thought e.l.f. was a bit of a higher end brand, honestly...I was surprised to see it at Target.
I hated eye-liner pencils...until I used these!
Quick disclosure: If you've read any of my reviews you will know I generally only use liquid eye-liner...not anymore! I LOVE these! This is by FAR the easiest eye liner pencil I have EVER used. It goes on like it has been heated (which I actually have to do for my cheapy drug store eye liner pencils to get any damn color to come out of them). I got the black in the Book of Shadows kit, and the brown in the Rollergirl kit...I am SO glad. I will be purchasing the rest of the colors as soon as possible, they are that awesome.
Princesses Rule! & Bubble Bath
OPI is my all time favorite nail polish. The colors are always amazing & have the ability to be the color in the bottle, on your nails. It does take more then one coat sometimes, but HEY! Its nail polish. Thats what happens. The brush makes it so easy to paint your nails. Perfect size. Changing of the Garnet is my absolute favorite nail color of all time, but I recently bought Princesses Rule & Bubble Bath after using Princesses for a pedicure undercoat for my french manicure. I loved it & HAD to have it. I just recently found it at my favorite salon and picked it up in a set with the Bubble bath for around $18...I was okay with spending it because of the quality, I wouldn't dream of spending that much on ANY other nail polish.
Love this!
Until recently, I had been using L'Oreal liquid eye liner, in blackest black (which I still adore). This is the only other liquid eye liner that I have tried & been happy with the results. I love the brush, the packaging is cute, and it goes on pretty well. That said, sometimes it does take more then one swipe to get desired coverage, however it doesn't dry right away so you are able to do more then one swipe and not have it look like its broken up on your eye. This is also the ONLY liquid eye liner I have ever been able to use under my eyes as well. I don't do that often with the liquid (for obvious reasons) but this one gives me the ability to, which I like. Clean-up? This actually PEELS off. Amazing. Love it. I will get getting more.
This product is AMAZING. This is my first Urban Decay eye shadow purchase ever, but it will NOT be my last. All of the colors are amazing - they are incredibly well pigmented and cover beautifully. I will never be able to use another brand of eye-shadow again without thinking about these ones. I love how creamy the shadows are without being actually CREAM shadows, and they glide right on with ease, you don't have to do a lot of work to make the shades look clean & stand right out. I love the liquid eye-liner, again, I had only used L'Oreal in the past and I am glad I got this set to try this out! The brush is thin enough to do a lower lash line without having to wipe off globs of black for it to look nice. The mascara went on & covered beautifully. I haven't even used the primer yet, but I'm sure it will be amazing too!
Favorite, EVER!
I have been using this since I started wearing eyeliner! It's so amazing, I can't even USE other brands, or even tips, I love love love this eyeliner and will be devastated if it ever goes away.
