Most of the products I purchase are based on my damaged, eczema ridden skin
I have been searching for a gentle body wash that I could use over my eczema. I initially got Korres because of the natural ingredients however finding out that one of their ingredients Coco-Betaine has won the Allergen of the Year Award by American Contact Dermatitis Society in 2004. It also contained unnatural fragrance which is always a no no with eczema or sensitive skin. My skin is not taut or irritated after showering which is great! I immediately slather myself with Embryolisse Lait-Crème Fluide.
I really think I was going to hate it...
When I was jumping into the cosmetics world, my first instinct was to go with ELF products. My second instinct besides being cheap was being lazy. So I bought ELF's version of the spot brush cleaning spray. Worst mistake ever! I broke out horribly every time I used it! I swore to never use that kind of cleaning product on my face again. I still have my lazy tendencies so I was not cleaning my brushes as much as I would like and I have quite the collection of Wayne Goss brushes growing in my brush kit! I learned that fully washing them with water all the time was not going to keep them in pristine condition for as long as I would like. I took the jump and bought this bad boy. It has NOT break me out! I was sooo happy! Don't get it wrong, this doesn't fully deep clean as if you would with water and soap but it does kill bacterias and remove excess make up stuff on the bristles resulting in smoother application. It has been an amazing product that I don't think I can live without anymore hehehe
Hate feeling greasy? Me too!
I slather body lotion during the fall and winter because I have dry skin. I absolutely hate feeling like I just showered for nothing when I have body lotion that is all greasy! I took my chance with Embryolisse Lait-Creme Fluide and am happy I did! It moisturizes and you feel it soak in immediately! There is no greasy feeling whatsoever btw! ;) Plus a pump is always a great thing to have hahaha
Just like the other products of this line, it works!
I currently use the Indie Lee System and I absolutely love it! For a while, I was not using any moisturizer because the ones I had were just not working for me. I thought, since her other products works well for me, I should try her moisturizer! Note: I have extremely dry flakey skin. With in a week the dry patches started to calm down and by two weeks, it was almost gone! Yes this is a little pricey and don't be surprised by the small jar. The stuff works extremely well and a little goes a long way. Especially since the winter is coming, it will be my savior!
I have the flakiest lips in the world!
No lie. I literally exfoliate my lips every night to keep it nice, smooth, and "normal" looking. I make sure to put a hot cloth over my lips for a few minutes before I go in with this exfoliator. Be gentle when using it because the lips are very sensitive and have very thin skin! But it is amaaaazinnnggg! <3
Amazing multi-purpose brush just like Brush 2
There are already an enormous amount of reviews for this brush but I still wanted to write a review cause it is so amazing! I got it in Black but wished I got White but #noregrets cause it is still awesome! The tapered ending makes the brush so multi-purpose for applying a general wash of color either with blush or bronzer. It can obviously be used for setting with powder as well! If you loved Brush 2 then you will love the newly named 00 brush ;)
Skeptical
I have tremendous amounts of black heads for like ever. Many expect for this to magically do everything for them like make their black heads disappear. Yes this helps! The mask brings the black heads to the surface and opens up your pores drawing all the impurities to the surface hence why some people say they see it but can't really get it. This is when you go in and exfoliate or extract using pore strips or Tweezerman's no slip skin care tool. Also notice that this is a mask treatment not a cleanser. If you use it too much it isn't going to work anymore. Masks are meant to be used a few times a week. Gotta work for what you want right? ;)
Luxuary Cotton
I didn't get why so many people were on this Koh Gen Do Pure Cotton hype until I used it recently. This stuff is sooo freaking soft! It is expensive for cotton but this is some good stuff. I do not like cotton balls because they also leave strings of cotton on my face and I used to use cheap Walgreen cottons with pressed edges that would be harsh against my skin! Also from what I heard, this is some cult cotton in the vaping world. If you vape check it out? hahaha
You gotta warm up to it
Let me tell you I was extremely skeptical about this Set. I absolutely love Wayne Goss and his amazing brushes but no matter how I looked at this set I didn't understand it. What was I going to do with a spoolie that looked like all the others I have. I also use pencil brow products more often then my Dipbrow. Lastly I already had a eyelash comb that I am in love with by Tweezerman. It took me a few tries for me to finally understand the set and how they worked together. I originally used spoolies for blending my brow but tried using it to brush my hair before applying my brow product as Wayne had suggested. I didn't realize how much foundation was sitting on my brow hairs until after I brushed it off. Instead I started using brush 22 to blend and it takes away less product because of the longer bristles making it more gentle and less harsh to the skin. Brush 21 made me the most excited hahaha Even though I generally don't use dipbrow, I pulled it out from the back of my shelf of hoarded make up products. Eventually I started using it to blend my brow pencils instead. I do not like the front of my brows to be thick or really dark so I line the bottom of my brows and use 21 to push/blend the product upwards to create a softer gradient look. This brush is my love. I go for more natural fuller brows and this set just does that for me! I use this Brow Set everyday needless to say so now. <3
