Beauty Product Reviews
It's worth it
At first, I was a little apprehensive when I first saw this product. But after hearing all the rave about it, I decided to buy it and give it a go, and I am so happy that I bought this! The medium shade matches perfectly with my skin tone, and all you really need is just one pea size dot, and you're good to go! I love the natural finish it gives. It is a light-medium coverage, so if you're someone who likes having full coverage, I wouldn't really suggest it, but I think it can be build-able. But a con of it is that I'm not really sure it moisturizes. I tried it on without using a moisturizer, and it was just horrible, and it was a lot harder to blend in. So, I have to use a moisturizer (and a separate sun screen cause I'm psychotic) when I use this, but I don't mind. Although this doesn't give as much coverage as my [favorite] foundation (Lancome's Teint Idole Ultra, which I re-discovered in my collection), I'm still loving it, and it's my everyday go-to "foundation". And compared to $44, I think I'd rather buy this $39 for the time being. Especially since I don't like to wear that much makeup during spring/summer seasons.
High End Product in Drugstore Price
After contemplating of whether or not I should buy them, I finally gave in. I decided to buy one while I was at Target, then I bought some more at Walmart, and one more at Smith's. I have Tough as Taupe, Pomegranate Punk, Audacious Asphalt, and Bad to the Bronze, and I must say, they work really great! They blend easily, and, for me, they're highly pigmented. I can't say for sure that they really last 24 hours, but I wore it for a little more than 12 hours, and it stayed on for the entire day! There was no need for retouch! The only thing that was a con (besides trying to find them) is that I need an actual primer for my lids since they can get oily, but other than that, I'm perfectly happy with them. And I'll probably buy Tenacious Teal and Bold Gold, but I'm not sure about the other colors.
Amazing
With my extremely dry lips, I have to put on Vaseline or some sort of lip balm on my lips before I apply any lipstick or lip gloss. But I can get away with just putting some of this lip butter on my lips, and my lips won't be chapped. So far I only have Creme Brulee & Berry Smoothie, but I'm definitely buying all shades as soon as I can!
All-time fave; oh-so pricey.
I've been looking for a great makeup remover, and I've heard tons of great review on this. I've been using baby wipes, since I got tired of having such an oily residue after all my other makeup removers, but it takes forever to remove it, and my eyes will be red after. So I decided to go ahead and buy this, and this is such a great investment. But it is expensive, I bought it at Ulta for $26, I believe. But I think it's worth it.
I'm not going to lie, I absolutely loved this product! It worked so great with removing all my pores. I had horrible blackheads, and they were all over my nose! One strip of this, and it got rid of them instantly! When I removed it, it didn't hurt that much, but I took my time taking it off my face.
So, I have the I'm Getting Sunburned, and I do love it! The gold (for the lid) is absolutely gorgeous & all three are very pigmented. However, the dark brown for the crease is a little bit to dark for me, and you have to be extremely careful when applying it. But, I am happy that this was only $2.99! I'm very happy with the purchase, and I'm planning on buying Walking on Eggshells, Sweet as Candy, and Knock on Wood soon.
