I am going to New York this weekend and I want to bring my naked 3 but I don't know how to pack it without one of the shadows cracking.

Pack it between your clothing so it's protected.

Where are you taking it? I take all my makeup in my carry on bags.

Would it be better in clothes or in a makeup back on the side of the luggage

In the clothes definitely.

Like Hannah said, the clothes act as a cushion. Luggage gets through around literally. And the clothes help the palette from getting crushed.

Well it depends on you, what Hannah said works too :)

Probably in the clothes. Take it in a carry on makeup bag if possible.

When I travel I either wrap my palettes in a little bubble wrap or slide them inside some thick boot socks. I then pack about half of my clothes in the suit case, then I pack my makeup &delicate items, then continue packing my clothes. That way, there is tons of protection all around =)

I agree with hannah also put cotten pads between the cover and shadow to put pressure on it so if it gets dropped or his it won't be lose and has extra support
