So like mostly everyone here I've been on a hunt for the perfect contour. Haven't been able to get my hands on the ABH Palette, but I do have some other palettes including the Kevin Aucoin Sculpting Powder. All which look good at first, but after a couple of hours, starts turning gray, and not in a good way, more like an "ashes on my face way". Then I read an article in Allure magazine saying a lot of bronzers can read gray on Asian skin. So I got to thinking...if bronzers which are warm are turning gray on Asian skin then what do you think is going to happen when you apply an actual contour powder (which has gray in it) going to look? Now, I know everyone is different & it could be the chemical makeup of my skin thats oxidizing these products, but these are my experiences. Well, I tested yet another contour today & I think this one is alright-looking on my skin. I wore it all day & no ashes on my face.

Thank you. The article gave no explanation as you can see, it just recommended some makeup that would look good on Asian skin. I really like it above all the others I've tried, but you know how girls are. I still want the ABH Palette. This Japanese Contour powder I have on is not grey brown like Aucoin's, its not a true brown like Nars Laguna & its not an orangy brown like typical bronzers. At first glance it looks like a HONEY BROWN. But as I sit here studying it, I think it might have a hint of green in it. Is that weird? Here's what it looks like. It's coming off a little darker & warmer in this pic. I'm going to swatch it in the next pic.

I'm wearing the 1st one Canmake. It looks light but it shows up on my NC30 in a natural way, the way I like it. It looks orangy in the pic, but its not. But I do think the honey tone somehow offset the gray tones that usually emerges when wearing other contours. This is the packaging & I got it on Ebay.
