just dye your hair with dye. Kool Aid won't at all be permanent & yeah.. would make your hair all sticky :s

I have really dark hair and it turned out great, didn't make my hair dry or sticky either.

I wouldn't do it if you want your natural color back. I did it on a girl I used to babysit, almost a year ago and it's still there. It does damage it quite a bit, (as someone who dyes their hair frequently, her hair was in worse shape than mine afterwards) it caused major split ends and when her 9 year old self went "I want blue instead of red!" She got it bleached 3 times and dyed over it with a darker dye and it's still there, she ended up cutting most of it off because she didn't like it anymore.
If I were you, I'd just go buy a veggie dye like manic panic and dye it, it'll be less damaging, more conditioning and you don't have to stick with one color till you cut it off.
