I think it could work for darker grunge looks or boho looks but I'd keep away from bright colors unless your working towards a theme like dance or something...

I maybe the only one here who thinks this isn't terrible. & like another person mentioned, we laugh now, but once some celeb catches wind of this trend it'll be all the craze.

I think its pretty awesome....as long as they'e the same shoe and they were meant to go together. I personally hate those two colors, I would never wear them. But I would totally buy a more complementary and flattering palette. I classically studied fashion and/or worked in the fashion industry since 2002 and studied on my own even before that, and I have definitely seen mismatched shoes over the years! A lot of times, when it was more obviosu, like two different colored shoes, I'd see them on all the punks around St. Marks Pl, growing up in NYC. I see a lot less obvious renditions of mismatching, such as using two complementary images on some graphically designed shoes like those y Irregular Choice and Charlotte Olympia who both use a lot of prints and graphic images.

What do you ladies think about a more subtle but still technically mismatched shoe!? I guess they're more "Complementary" then "Mismatched" though

More subtle complementary, mismatched shoes.
