How do you get flawless foundation? A dewy and glowing skin look?
Cause whenever I apply my foundation it really looks like I did put make up on. I don't know how to explain that! It's a bit cakey, it doesn't look soft and flawless.
I don't know what to do. I've started make up not so long ago! Any tips? Brushes techniques, etc..

Well what's YOUR foundation routine? lol.
here's how I do my foundation:
- first I apply a primer to my fave & let it set for 3-5mins.
- I then use my Quo colour correcting palette to nix any redness or other discolouration.
- foundation time! I pour some onto the back of my hand, & then apply it using my Beauty Blender sponge - it gives a very Natural finish.
- apply more foundation if needed, then concealer, then powder, & done!
- I also use my Benefit Watts Up illuminator to give me more of a glowy look, since I use a matte foundation.
you can always buy an illuminating foundation tho. they're meant to automatically give you that dewy look so you don't have to "create" it :p

Well, I use :
- Sephora Smoothing Primer and I also let it set
- M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid and I apply it with a foundation brush
- M.A.C Select Cover-Up using my Beauty Blender
- M.A.C Pressed Powder with a brush.
Maybe I should try to apply my foundation with a Beauty Blender like you do :)

@Noemie, if you want a dewy look I would just buy an illuminating foundation like NARS Sheer Glow or Armani Luminous Silk c:

Always apply moisturizer, primer, foundation, and then set with powder or a setting spray. because your skin is kind of dry I recommend Loreal True Match Lumi Foundation. it will give you a beautiful dewy look and is great for dry skin

I use the studio fix with out pressed powder and I might layer it up sometimes if I need to and it looks really good , I WAS going to get one of their powders but the lady who matched me was wearing it over her foundation and I thought it looked alright then she put the studio fix on me without it and I looked and I thought it looked WAY better without the powder
