I really want to try lash extensions after prom is over. I've been rocking the more natural look and love long lashes, but I hate wearing mascara. I've heard awful things about them but through my research I've come to the conclusion that if you get single one by one lashes they should be fine.
How have your experience with lash extensions been? They are very expensive (places in my city charge on average $150)
I was also considering buying individual false lashes and doing them myself with lash glue. I've only worn strip lashes before and I always remove them at night. Can you wear individuals for more than one day? I wouldn't be wearing any other eye makeup with them.

I seen an officer with lash extensions, always ask for a portfolio to see their work cause it really stood out - and not in a good way.
She got a groupon for it though- for $30.00... maybe check that out!
I've heard of wearing falsies more than once, I don't know about wearing them more than one day though.

You can wear them more than once if you take care of them properly but you must remove them at night just like strip lashes.

The lashes that your talking about are suppose to be worn more then once yes. Also I tried to do single lashes it is very difficult. If you use singles that have more then one lash in them they are much easier and look natural but sexy. I never worn them over night though. I suggest getting single ones done by a professional if you want to keep them on for weeks

I don't have much experience with individual lashes, but I have a lot with lash extensions and I can say they're well worth it. If you go to the right place.
Always be sure to ask around and review places before getting your eyelashes done, because it's very easy to get someone inexperienced. I suggest somewhere that uses Xtreme lashes, the glue is surgical so it won't irritate your eyes, and the lashes are synthetic mink so they are light and won't damage your lashes. I can answer any of your questions if you want

I tried lash extensions once and didn't like them, the feeling when you blink and sleep is strange, it' s difficult to apply make up or eyeliner (by the way you need a special mascara for them) and when you wash your face you have to be careful, it' s supppsed that if you take hot showers they'll fall faster so you shouldn't. Mine didn' t last more than two weeks and the first falling lash falled the second day :( I think it's not worth the price so I recommend individuals

I wear individual lashes their much better and mines last anywhere from 2_3 weeks before needing a fill in you just have to make sure you keep them clean you can take showers just don't rub your eyes and where I stay it is only 25 dollars for a full set try short_medium so that you can have a more natural look hope I he.

Thank you ladies. All of your advice was really helpful. I think I will try out individual lashes this weekend and then go get them done professionally after prom.

I usually get lash extentions that they glue on individually. I only pay twenty for medeum or 25 for full but it doesn't look very natural with full or long. with medium people always ask if they are my natural ones. mine last about two weeks before thry start to get on my nerves lol I showed fine Just had to wash my face with a wash cloth to avoid my eyes. but I've like having them for the mean while.
