I think the lemon juice could be fine if used sparingly in the scrub, but it shouldn't be a main component. :)

I love using avocado, course and fine salt, and a bit of coconut oil for my legs but I'm not completely sure how it would work on your face. It may be a bit too abrasive...maybe you could try it if your skin isnt too sensitive.

Jacqlyn is right lemon is way too acidic for your face. You are simply ruining your skins defensive barrier and just making it one nice breeding ground for bacteria and more acne, as well as chemical burns and lets not mention that it's photoxic.. If you still feel like lemon is the way to go do it at night and wear some high SPF- Don't constantly do it. There's a reason why medical professionals cringe at the thought of it! Use a safe ingredient like Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, Rose hip, hemp, or maracuja! It'll do so much more for you in the long run ♥
Like Jacqlyn mentioned, I always say buy some jojoba beads in bulk and add them to your cleanser. Super gentle for the skin, Oatmeal can be grinded up as well to use as an exfoliant and can help with redness and irritation. Refined sugar or refined salt can be used as well, as long as it's round.. not sharp or jagged.
I personally love oatmeal ♥
@Nala so Jealous that your skin can tolerate Olive Oil! I bet it's left so soft ♥
